I am a model and a hobbyist photographer.
About my modelling
I am a classic model i.e older or as others say 'mature'. I am with an agency but I mostly work independently. I am quite versatile, my look allows me to be so. I especially like doing creative collaborative work. For the latter I will do TFP/TFCD, with the right photographer. I welcome mutual challenges and ideas that can be expanded upon. I love doing work that is dynamic, multi-layered and multi-referenced and that gives me sufficient scope to perform as a model. I have a strong dance background and performed in my twenties, later becoming involved in other dance and performance related activities. I am also a writer. I have a postgraduate degree in visual culture, have contributed to several art publications and done some curatorial work. I am currently retraining as a dance movement psychotherapist, a big change but a much needed one.
I write a blog, THE REAL DOES NOT EFFACE ITSELF [link] where I comment on anything that takes my fancy. I am also on the editing team of the well known art blog UNIVERS D'ARTISTES (UdA) founded by Chris St James [link]
I have a flexible, well toned, athletic body, thanks to years of movement and yoga practice and had some martial art training, so I can do complex poses. I also double up as a life model, holding poses for long is never a problem for me. I am an Equity card holder, not that it matters much, but it makes me a recognisable 'performing artist'.
I live in London but am happy to travel for the right shoot. I love modelling, I came to it relatively late in life and took to it like a duck to water. I believe I can bring to a shoot great poise, elegance, confidence, maturity, sensuality, intelligence, imagination and a highly developed aesthetic sense, acquired through years of being involved one way or another with the creative arts. About me as a photographer
I am an amateur photographer, always looking for models, especially male models. I prefer using film rather than digital - I no longer have a digital camera - and am keen to learn.

P.S No, I am not Yasmina Rossi [link] I just bear a resemblance to her but that's all. She is a wonderful person and we are hoping to do some work together in the future, but we are definitely different models
